Abe Harold Courtney was born at 4:47 a.m. on Jan. 2 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, the first baby of the new year on the Vineyard. Abe weighed 8 pounds, 9.7 ounces at birth. His proud parents are Cassie Bradley and Patrick Courtney of Chilmark.
